From a 4:36 marathon to the World Championships
You tease, MO
Congratulations Thomas, well done. I am a relative beginner but a regular reader of your blog and what you have achieved is inspiring. Enjoy the well deserved holiday! Looking forward to reading the full race report soon, RB.
After hours of relentless running the look of pure joy on your face when crossing the line after 550 laps (220km) was priceless. Huge respect Thomas, especially because I could see first hand the physical and mental pain you had to push through again and again to achieve (and exceed) your goal - fanbloodytastic you rubbish international standard athlete!!!.
You've come a long way baby! IAAF standard and you are actually taking a holiday
Proud of you is not something I'm entitled to be, Thomas, but I am so very, it brings tears to my eyes. The very best in human aspiration, dedication and achievement. IIAF. Wow.. Time for a few celebratory pints.
well done! Lots of major milestones reached there!! Enjoy the break / recovery and I'm looking forward to you reaching more major milestones in the not too distant future....
Great result Thomas. I followed the updates about the race via twitter and got a small inkling of what an amazing race to be part of. To get so many athletes putting away great performances and to know that you were one of them is inspiring. Rest up well.
Stunning performance. Well done.
