Manchester

City won 2:1.

I ran 3:01:02.

Delighted with the first, obviously slightly disappointed with the second one. Was just that little bit too slow for a sub-3 today, though I gave it a good go.

Oh Manchester is wonderful.

  2. 3:01 v 2:59:59 , minimal difference Thomas, great effort, very good time, onwards and head held high. Looking forward to the report.

  3. I am sure you are disspointed Thomas, I know how that feels. Think of Gerry Duffys mantra, you got to run a marathon, you have the health to do it, and you still did it a lot faster than many could ever hope to! A great result me thinks!

  4. 3:00:00 was always a mathematical thing, anyway. Big Race. GREAT result for a real Ultramarathoner with stress in his life. Terrific prep and effort, Thomas. You continue to inspire so many of us. Thank you.

  7. Yes Thomas 3:01 isn't disappointing by any means but what is not up to your usual standard is that piss poor race report. ;) Hope you remedy that.

  8. Look how far you have come Thomas, and it's more about the journey than the destination. I hope you continue to be an inspiration to us all for many more miles and years to come. Thank you.
