It is recovery time for me after a successful first season of ultra-running. Sunday saw me run and finish my first 50 miler at the Vermont50. I finished in 9h21 on a great course with tons of single track trails and nearly 10,000 feet elevation. My time was good enough for 75th out of 230 [The winner ran an incredible 6h07!]. I think my wife might ban me from your blog as when she asked "what's next?" I said "well ....". I'd be hard put running 100 these days.Ewenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01093209634556111656noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13273897.post-51667844110488569842013-09-29T19:15:53.836+01:002013-09-29T19:15:53.836+01:00My husband said the same to me, that he cannot cop...My husband said the same to me, that he cannot cope with our kids on his own while I'll be in Hungary. Dads do way better job than they give themselves credit for, though. However, this will be my first time away from the family, so I might not be able to cope without them:(

It is great that you enjoy running again! Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
