You've done so well working you're way up to this point, I doubt that anything can or will slow you down on Race Day.Philhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04350841837453498786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13273897.post-19732148870687008562006-10-19T23:41:00.000+01:002006-10-19T23:41:00.000+01:00RICE? I'd love to be able to refer you to the 2 cuties who worked me over after Wineglass ;-) Maybe some gentle long stretches will make it go away. Can't give you any advice only sympathy. Hope the quads recover in time - perhaps you need to listen to your body and not push it too hard before the big day.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16140521672043945207noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13273897.post-89796023995195978422006-10-19T21:47:00.000+01:002006-10-19T21:47:00.000+01:00Hey guys,

Also, given the hamstring issue, I'd forego speed and do a progression to MP and hold as the last good workout. My quad injuries have always been related to hills. Any chance you over-used the muscle to get yourself up a steep one? No hills, no running faster than a natural gait. Ibuprofen (Motrin).

I'm sure you mentioned it before, but what time are you aiming for?Andrewhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03279497885714621045noreply@blogger.com
