In hindsight you could probably done a little better in the second half with am easier first half, but the main causes of slow down will have been the added heat stress that made it's presence felt in the second half.<br /><br />For fine tuning you training for the 24 hour, it might be worth considering the heat factor that may or may not be present on the day.
